PRELIMINARY

Citation

1. These Rules may be cited as the Muslim Marriage and Divorce Rules.

Definitions

2. In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires —

“Court” means the Syariah Court constituted under section 34 of the Act;

“Secretary” means the Secretary of the Majlis;

“solicitor” means an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court.
