The notes have one windowed machine-readable thread which is interwoven in the paper running vertically down the back of the notes. A watermark of the President’s portrait is incorporated on the left-hand side of the front of the note. The watermark is not overprinted on both the front and back. A highlight watermark which corresponds with the Braille pattern at the top right-hand corner of the front design, is located at the bottom of the Portrait watermark.
