(Exemption) (No. 11)
Notification 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 11) Notification 2011.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “RWS 3D Magic” promotion to be held from 18th April 2011 to 17th April 2012 (both dates inclusive) (referred to in this paragraph as the relevant period); and
(b)the “Daily Draws” and “Weekly Draws” to be held, as part of the “RWS 3D Magic” promotion, on Mondays to Thursdays and on Sundays, respectively, between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. during the relevant period,
at a promotion booth and at the Casino Royale Bar, respectively, located within the Mass Gaming Area at Basement 1 of the casino operated by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 14th April 2011.
