Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 11) Notification 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 11) Notification 2003.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the Heartstrings Charity Draw 2003 promotion to be held from 18th July 2003 to 9th November 2003 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 9th November 2003.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 5th August 2003.

Cancellation

3. The Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 3) Notification 2003 (G.N. No. S 155/2003) is cancelled.
