(Exemption) (No. 9)
Notification 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 9) Notification 2014.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Nee Soon South Community Club Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee (referred to in this Notification as “the organiser”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Nee Soon South Community Club Active Ageing Mind Games (Mahjong) Challenge 2014” promotion to be held from 1st March 2014 to 18th May 2014 (both dates inclusive) and the mahjong games to be held on 18th May 2014 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the multi‑purpose hall of Nee Soon South Community Club.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
