(The Japanese Association — Exemption)
Notification 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (The Japanese Association — Exemption) Notification 2019.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts the society registered under the Societies Act (Cap. 311) known as The Japanese Association, Singapore (UEN S62SS0062K) (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)“The Japanese Association Open House cum Charity Bazaar and Charity Draw 2019” promotion to be held from 12 September 2019 to 23 November 2019 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)the draw to be held as part of the promotion at 1.15 p.m. on 23 November 2019 at 120 Adam Road, Singapore 289899.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
