(Exemption) (No. 65)
Notification 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 65) Notification 2014.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Battle of Zodiac” promotion to be held from 29 September 2014 to 30 October 2014 (both dates inclusive);
(b)the kiosk games to be held at all Sands Rewards Club kiosks within the premises of the casino of Marina Bay Sands as part of the “Battle of Zodiac” promotion during the following periods:
(i)from 6 a.m. each day between 29 September 2014 and 29 October 2014 (both dates inclusive) to before 6 a.m. the following day;
(ii)from 6 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. on 30 October 2014;
(c)the “Battle of Zodiac Finale Lucky Draw” promotion to be held from 31 October 2014 to 2 November 2014 (both dates inclusive); and
(d)the following draws to be held at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands as part of the “Battle of Zodiac Finale Lucky Draw” promotion:
(i)5 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on 31 October 2014 and 1 November 2014, respectively;
(ii)5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 2 November 2014.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
