(Exemption) (No. 12)
Notification 2016
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 12) Notification 2016.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister exempts Teck Ghee Community Club Active Ageing Committee (called the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)the “Teck Ghee Active Ageing Mind Game Mahjong Tournament 2016” promotion to be held from 1 March 2016 to 15 April 2016 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)the mahjong games to be held at the multi-purpose hall of Teck Ghee Community Club from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 15 April 2016.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
