(Prescribed Fees)
Regulations 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 428 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Fees) Regulations 2013 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2013.
Prescribed fees
2.—(1)  For the purposes of section 377(6) of the Code, the prescribed fee for an application for a copy each of the record of proceedings and the grounds of decision is as follows:
(a)if the notice of appeal is lodged in relation to a judgment, sentence or order of a Magistrate’s Court or District Court —
(i)$50; and
(ii)in the case of an application for an additional copy of the record of proceedings or the grounds of decision, $0.50 for each page thereof, subject to a minimum fee of $10 for each copy of the record of proceedings or the grounds of decision;
(b)if the notice of appeal is lodged in relation to a judgment, sentence or order of the General Division of the High Court, $0.50 for each page of a copy of the record of proceedings and the grounds of decision, subject to a minimum fee of $10.

(2)  For the purposes of section 426(1) of the Code, the prescribed fee for an application for a copy of any judgment, sentence, order, deposition or other part of the record of proceedings in a criminal case or matter is the sum of —
(a)$5, payable at the time of the application, for each type of document requested in the application; and
(b)$0.50 for each page thereof,
subject to a total minimum fee of $15 for each type of document requested.
Waiver, remission or refund of fees
3.  The Registrar of the Supreme Court or the Registrar of the State Courts, as the case may be, may, as he thinks fit, waive, remit or refund, wholly or in part, any fee paid or payable under these Regulations.

Revocation
4.  The Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Fees) Regulations 2010 (G.N. No. S 799/2010) are revoked.
