Central Provident Fund (Prescribed Age to Withdraw Minimum Sum) Notification 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15(7) and (7A) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Prescribed Age to Withdraw Minimum Sum) Notification 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st January 1999.

Prescribed age

2. For the purposes of subsections (7) and (7A) of section 15 of the Act, the age of 60 years referred to in those subsections shall be 62 years.
