Dangerous Fireworks (Annual Exemption)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Dangerous Fireworks Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification may be cited as the Dangerous Fireworks (Annual Exemption) Notification 2014.

(2) This Notification shall come into operation on 1st April 2014 and shall remain in operation until 31st March 2015 (both dates inclusive).

Exemption

2. Section 3 of the Act shall not apply in respect of dangerous fireworks used or to be used in a fireworks display that is executed by a person specified in Part I of the Schedule (referred to in this Notification as the exempt person) for or on behalf of any other person in accordance with the conditions specified in Part II thereof.
