Electricity (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 93 of the Electricity Act, the Energy Market Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Trade and Industry, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Electricity (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2002.

Compoundable offences

2. The offences under the provisions specified in the Schedule may be compounded by the Authority in accordance with section 93 of the Act.

Revocation

3. The Electrical Workers and Contractors Licensing (Composition of Offences) Regulations (Cap. 89, Rg 2) are revoked.
