In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(3) of the Enterprise Singapore Board Act 2018, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Enterprise Singapore Board (Assignment of Function) Notification 2020 and is deemed to have come into operation on 6 February 2020.

Additional function

2. The Minister for Trade and Industry assigns to the Enterprise Singapore Board the function of cooperating and collaborating with the Singapore Food Agency established by section 3 of the Singapore Food Agency Act 2019 (Act 11 of 2019) to establish and manage a national food stockpile to facilitate trade and distribution of food supplies in Singapore, and to enter into transactions for this purpose, having regard to the resilience of the food supply chain for Singapore.
