Citation
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Films (Licensing) Regulations.
Definition
2.  In these Regulations, “distribution point” means a place from which films are distributed.
Fee for licence and renewal thereof
3.—(1)  The fee payable for a licence granted under section 7 of the Act, or for the renewal thereof, in respect of each of the following businesses shall be $1,500 for 2 years or part thereof:
(a)importing films;
(b)making films;
(c)distributing films; or
(d)exhibiting films.
(2)  Notwithstanding paragraph (1), a licence under section 7 of the Act for distributing films may be granted for a period of one month or part thereof and the fee payable therefor shall be $125.
Fee for additional distribution point
4.—(1)  In the case of the business of distribution, the licence granted shall designate the distribution point.
(2)  A further fee of $1,500 for 2 years or part thereof or $125 for a month of part thereof shall be payable for each additional distribution point.
Applicants to give cash deposit or bank guarantee
5.  The Licensing Officer may, before granting a licence, require the applicant to give a cash deposit or a bank guarantee of not more than $20,000 —
(a)for each of the businesses mentioned in regulation 3; and
(b)for each additional distribution point.
