Films (Fees) Regulations

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Films (Fees) Regulations.

Fees payable

2. The fees specified in the Schedule shall be payable to the Authority.

Waiver or reduction of fees

3. The Authority may, subject to such conditions as it thinks fit, waive or reduce, in whole or in part, any fee payable under these Regulations —

(a)

in any case relating to any cinematograph film, video tape, video disc or video game —

(i)	that wholly comprises religious teaching or instruction and is not made or intended for exhibition or distribution in Singapore with the object of deriving a profit; or
(ii)	that mainly comprises material for training, instruction or reference, as a manual, a lesson, an encyclopaedia or a guide and is not made or intended for exhibition or distribution in Singapore with the object of deriving a profit;

(b)

in any case relating to any video tape or video disc that is identical in content with a film in respect of which a certificate approving the exhibition of the film is issued under the Act and in force; or

(c)

in any other case if satisfied that it is just and equitable to do so.
