Free Trade Zones Act
(Chapter 114)
Free Trade Zones (Appointment of Authorities to Administer Free Trade Zones) Notification 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Free Trade Zones Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Free Trade Zones (Appointment of Authorities to Administer Free Trade Zones) Notification 1998 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st October 1997.
Authorities to administer free trade zones
2.—(1)  PSA Corporation Limited is hereby appointed as the authority to administer, maintain and operate —
(a)the Port of Singapore - Free Trade Zone;
(b)the Port of Singapore (Sembawang Terminal) - Free Trade Zone;
(c)the Port of Singapore (Pasir Panjang Wharves) - Free Trade Zone;
(d)the Port of Singapore (Brani Terminal) - Free Trade Zone;
(e)the Port of Singapore (Keppel Distripark) - Free Trade Zone;
(f)the Port of Singapore (Keppel Distripark Linkbridge) - Free Trade Zone; and
(g)the Port of Singapore (Pasir Panjang Terminal) - Free Trade Zone.
(2)  Jurong Town Corporation is hereby appointed as the authority to administer, maintain and operate the Port of Singapore (Jurong Port) - Free Trade Zone.
(3)  The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore is hereby appointed as the authority to administer, maintain and operate the Changi Airport Cargo Terminal Complex - Free Trade Zone.
Cancellation
3.  The Free Trade Zones (Appointment of Authorities to Administer Free Trade Zones) Notification (N 4) is cancelled.
Made this 23rd day of January 1998.
