Order 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2 and 9 of the Fees Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Fees (Ministry of Social and Family Development) Order 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2012.

Fee

2. There shall be payable to the Ministry of Social and Family Development a fee of $250 in relation to every appointment of the Director‑General of Social Welfare as guardian ad litem in adoption proceedings in the High Court or in a District Court.

Remission

3. The Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Social and Family Development may, in any particular case, remit wholly or in part any fee payable under paragraph 2.

Revocation

4. The Fees (Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports) Order 2010 (G.N. No. S 625/2010) is revoked.
