Notification 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Act 1997, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Act (Commencement) Notification 1998.

2. The Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) Act 1997 shall come into operation on 16th March 1998.
