Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Immigration Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Immigration (Temporary Authorised Place of Entry and Departure — IMDEX 2019) Notification 2019.

2. Changi Exhibition Centre, 1.5 km NNE (042) of Runway 20(L) threshold at 9 Aviation Park Road, Singapore 498760, is an authorised airport, an authorised point of entry, and an authorised point of departure —

(a)	only for the separate and exclusive immigration clearance of the class of persons who arrive in Singapore, or leave Singapore, by air on any aircraft displayed, or to be displayed, at the International Maritime and Defence Exhibition 2019 (also known as IMDEX 2019); and
(b)	only for the period between 12 May 2019 and 18 May 2019 (both dates inclusive).

3. For the purposes of section 5(6) of the Act, the rates specified in the Schedule are payable, by Experia Events Pte. Ltd. to the Controller, for or in connection with immigration clearance performed by such number of immigration officers as may be determined by the Controller, at the place and during the period specified in paragraph 2.
