Delegation of Powers (Ministry of National Development) Notification 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of National Development) Notification 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st September 1999.

Delegation of powers

2. The Minister for National Development, with the approval of the President, hereby deputes the officers specified in the first column of the Schedule to exercise the powers of the Minister under the provisions of the Planning Act (Cap. 232) specified in the second column thereof.

Consequential amendments

3.—(1) The Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Consolidation) Notification (N 7) is amended by deleting item 2 under the heading “MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT”.

(2) The Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Consolidation) Notification (N 8) is amended by deleting item 2 under the heading “MINISTRY OF NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT”.
