Delegation of Powers
(Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2000 and shall come into operation on 10th November 2000.

Delegation of powers

2. The Minister for Home Affairs, with the approval of the President, hereby deputes the Director of Prisons to exercise the powers of the Minister under section 13(2) of the Prisons Act (Cap. 247).

Made this 2nd day of November 2000.
