Interpretation
(Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Home
Affairs) Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Home Affairs, with the approval of the President, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Interpretation (Delegation of Powers — Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 November 2014.

Delegation of powers

2. The Minister for Home Affairs hereby deputes the persons specified in the first column of the Schedule to exercise the powers of the Minister under the provisions specified opposite in the second column and, where applicable, in respect of the matters specified opposite in the second column.

Amendment of Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) (Consolidation) Notification

3. The Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) (Consolidation) Notification (N 8) is amended —

(a)	by deleting paragraph (e) in the second column of item 2; and
(b)	by deleting items 3, 4 and 5.

Amendment of Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2005

4. Paragraph 2 of the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2005 (G.N. No. S 818/2005) is amended by deleting sub‑paragraphs (b) and (d).

Cancellation

5. The Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2002 (G.N. No. S 448/2002) is cancelled.
