Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread of Infectious Diseases) Regulations 2004 |

Citation and commencement |
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Measures to Prevent or Control the Spread of Infectious Diseases) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 12th January 2004. |

2. In these Regulations —

Medical examination of persons arriving in or departing from Singapore |

4.—(1) For the purpose of identifying any person who is, or is suspected to be, a case or carrier or contact of an infectious disease specified in the first column of the Second Schedule, a Health Officer authorised by the Director in that behalf may order any person who has the control and management of a workplace to implement a system to —

5.—(1) A Health Officer may require any person who is subject to an order issued under regulation 4(1) or (2) to produce for inspection, at such time as the Health Officer may specify, the temperature logs and records maintained under that regulation.

Penalty |
6. Any person who is guilty of an offence under these Regulations shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both. |
