| Citation and commencement |
| 1. This Notification may be cited as the Limited Partnerships (Restriction on Registration of Name) Notification 2009 and shall come into operation on 4th May 2009. |
| Prohibited name |
| 2. The Minister for Finance hereby directs that the Registrar of Limited Partnerships shall not accept for registration under the Act any name of a limited partnership containing the word “Temasek” unless Temasek Holdings Private Limited (Registration No. 197401143C) is a general partner of the limited partnership. |
