Appointment of Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioners

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 12(1) of the Maintenance of Parents Act, the Minister for Community Development and Sports has, with effect from 10th June 2000, appointed —

(a)	the Director of Social Welfare to be the Commissioner for the Maintenance of Parents;
(b)	the Deputy Director of Family and Child Protection and Welfare Branch to be the Deputy Commissioner for the Maintenance of Parents; and
(c)	the Assistant Directors of the Family and Child Protection and Welfare Branch to be the Assistant Commissioners for the Maintenance of Parents.

2. Notification No. N 1 is cancelled.
