Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Anchorages and Fairways) Notification 1997
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 43 of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act, the Port Master hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Anchorages and Fairways) Notification 1997 and shall come into operation on 15th September 1997.
Special anchorages
2.—(1)  The Port Master hereby declares the areas set out in the First Schedule as special anchorages and directs that the purposes for which they may be used as set out in that Schedule shall be complied with.
(2)  The geographical positions of the special anchorages are based upon the origin at the Government Offices Building being in Latitude 01° 17′ 15.528″ N Longitude 103° 51′ 10.808″ E.
(3)  The special anchorages are charted in Singapore Nautical Charts numbered SP1, GSP1, 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 300, G300, 301, G301, 302, G302, 303, G303, 304, G304, 500, 501, 502.
Prohibited anchorages and fairways
3.  The Port Master hereby declares the areas set out in the Second Schedule as fairways and prohibited anchorage areas and directs that the conditions set out in that Schedule shall be complied with.
