Citation
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Composition of Offences) Regulations.
Composition of offences
2.  The offences referred to in sections 48, 49(1), 53(5), 57(5), 73(2), 89(4), 91(5), 100(5), 103(2), 104(3) and (4), 105(2), 107(2), 109(2) and 212(2) of the Act may be compounded by the Director of Marine in accordance with section 205(2) of the Act.
