The Minister for Home Affairs has declared Tampines Prison, Lorong Halus (off Tampines Expressway), Singapore 1953, to be a prison for the purposes of the Act and defines the said place to be a prison for the custody of all classes of prisoners, convicted, remanded or detained under any written law.
