Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9(1) of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, the Minister for Communications and Information hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Personal Data Protection (Appointment of Administration Body) Notification 2012 and shall come into operation on 2nd January 2013.

Appointment of Administration Body

2. The Minister appoints the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore established under the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore Act (Cap. 137A) to be the Administration Body for the purposes of the Act.
