Parliamentary Elections (Prescribed Date)
Order 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(4) of the Parliamentary Elections Act, the Prime Minister hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Elections (Prescribed Date) Order 1999 and shall come into operation on 21st May 1999.
Prescribed date
2.  For the purposes of section 5(1) and (2) of the Act, the prescribed date shall be 31st May in any year.
