Public Order (National Day Parade 2010) Declaration 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Public Order Act 2009, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Declaration:

Citation

1. This Declaration may be cited as the Public Order (National Day Parade 2010) Declaration 2010.

National Day Parade 2010 is special event

2. The event known as the National Day Parade 2010, being held at the Padang on 9th August 2010, is hereby declared a special event for the purposes of Part III of the Act.

Special event site

3.—(1) The special event site for the National Day Parade 2010 is the area in the Padang described in the Schedule.

(2) Notwithstanding sub-paragraph (1), any land that is not a public place shall not be part of the special event site.

Period of special event

4. The period for which this Declaration is in force is the whole of 9th August 2010 only.
