Citation |
1. These Rules may be cited as the Pharmacists Registration Rules. |
Register |
2. The register of pharmacists shall be in the Form 1 in the Schedule. |
Application for registration |
Pre-registration training of persons qualified under section 7 (1) (a) of Act |
4.—(1) An applicant for registration under section 7(1)(a) of the Act shall complete not less than two years pre-registration training in a pharmaceutical firm or company or a hospital approved by the Board.

Person qualified under section 7 (1) (b) of Act |
5.—(1) An applicant for registration under section 7(1)(b) of the Act shall produce two certificates testifying to his good character.

6. The pre-registration training required by section 7(1)(b) of the Act shall not be more than 12 months. |
Fees |
7.—(1) The examination fee payable under section 7(4) of the Act shall be $300.

Registration |
8. Where the registration fee is paid and the application for registration is approved by the Board, the Registrar shall enter the name of the applicant in the register. |
Certificate of registration |
9.—(1) A certificate of registration shall be in the Form 3 in the Schedule.

Higher qualifications |
10. Where a registered pharmacist applies to have any higher qualification registered, the Registrar shall insert the higher qualification in the register if he is satisfied that the applicant holds such qualification. |
Retention of name in register |
11.—(1) An application for the retention of a pharmacist’s name in the register shall be made in the Form 4 in the Schedule.

Application for restoration of name to register |
12.—(1) An application for the restoration of a name to the register shall be addressed to the Registrar.

Fee for restoration of name to register |
13. The fee payable for the restoration of a pharmacist’s name to the register shall be $100. |
