The Public Transport Council has approved that —
(a)the fares set out in the Schedule shall be the maximum fares payable by a passenger of an omnibus with or without air-conditioning; and
(b)children of up to 90 cm in height shall be exempted from payment of such fares.
2.  In this Notification —
“LRT” is the abbreviation for the rapid transit system known as the Bukit Panjang Light Rapid Transit System;
“MRT” is the abbreviation for the rapid transit system known as the Mass Rapid Transit System;
“rapid transit system” means any railway set up under the Rapid Transit Systems Act (Cap. 263A) to meet the transport requirements of the public.
