Road Traffic (Restriction of Vehicles) Order

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Restriction of Vehicles) Order.

Restriction of vehicles with 3 or more axles

2. No vehicle with three or more axles shall enter, or be driven on any road bounded by, the Inner Ring Road System as described in Parts I and II of the Schedule —

(a)	from Mondays to Fridays (except on public holidays) between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m.; and
(b)	on Saturdays (except on public holidays) between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m., and 11.30 a.m. and 2.00 p.m.

Non-application of restriction

3. This Order shall not apply to —

(a)	any road of the Port of Singapore Authority within the Inner Ring Road System;
(b)	the boundary of the Inner Ring Road System as marked in Part II of the Schedule; and
(c)	any part of the East Coast Parkway and its slip roads within the Inner Ring Road System.
