2. In these Rules, unless the context otherwise requires —

Right of way of Youth Olympic Games vehicles on Youth Olympic lanes |
3. During the period from 5th August 2010 to 26th August 2010 (both dates inclusive), every Youth Olympic Games vehicle being driven in a Youth Olympic lane shall have the right of way over all other traffic, except any ambulance or any Government, civil defence or police vehicle that is on urgent duty call and whose approach is made known by means of some distinctive siren, light, bell or multi-toned horn, as the case may be. 4. During the period from 5th August 2010 to 26th August 2010 (both dates inclusive) —

5. These Rules do not relieve the driver of any Youth Olympic Games vehicle of any obligation under the Act or any liability under the provisions of any law relating to dangerous, rash or negligent driving. |
Offences |
6.—(1) Any person who contravenes rule 4(a), (b) or (c) shall be guilty of an offence.
