In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) (No. 8) Order 2010.

Exemption

2. Section 101 of the Act shall not apply to the vehicle which bears the registration number SJH 3333J and which —

(a)	is used as a private hire car between 30th October 2010 and 4th November 2010 (both dates inclusive) by Premium Automobiles Pte Ltd for the purpose of the event known as the 3rd Singapore International Energy Week 2010;
(b)	has valid insurance cover for its use as a private hire car when it is so used; and
(c)	displays a label issued by the Registrar in such manner as he may require.
