Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) Order 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) Order 2004.

Exemption

2. Section 101 of the Act shall not apply to any of the vehicles bearing the registration numbers set out in the Schedule which —

(a)	is temporarily used as a private hire car from 19th February 2004 to 1st March 2004 (both dates inclusive) by C & P Rent-A-Car (Pte) Ltd for the purpose of the Asian Aerospace Exhibition 2004;
(b)	has valid insurance cover for its use as a private hire car when it is so used; and
(c)	displays a label issued by the Registrar in such manner as he may require.
