Hazardous Waste (Control of Export,
Import and Transit) (Amendment) Act 2020
(Commencement) Notification 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) (Amendment) Act 2020, the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification is the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) (Amendment) Act 2020 (Commencement) Notification 2020.
2.  The Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) (Amendment) Act 2020, except sections 7 and 9, comes into operation on 1 April 2020.
3.  Section 7 of the Hazardous Waste (Control of Export, Import and Transit) (Amendment) Act 2020 comes into operation on 1 October 2020.
