(Commencement) Notification 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2000, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2000.

2. The Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2000 shall, with the exception of sections 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19, come into operation on 28th December 2000.

3. Sections 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 17, 18 and 19 (b) of the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2000 shall come into operation on 1st January 2001.
