Singapore Broadcasting Authority (Exemption) Order 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(b) of the Singapore Broadcasting Authority Act, Mr David Lim Tik En, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Singapore Broadcasting Authority (Exemption) Order 2002 and shall come into operation on 22nd November 2002.

Exemption

2. The Minister hereby exempts the following broadcasting holding companies from section 44 of the Act:

(a)	Singapore Press Holdings Limited;
(b)	Singapore Technologies Pte Ltd;
(c)	Singapore Technologies Telemedia Pte Ltd;
(d)	STT Communications Ltd; and
(e)	Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited.
