Statutory Boards (Taxable Services) Act

Statutory Boards (Taxable Services) (No. 2) Order 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1) of the Statutory Boards (Taxable Services) Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Statutory Boards (Taxable Services) (No. 2) Order 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1999.
Rates of tax
2.  The tax to be charged on the taxable services specified in the first column of the Schedule shall be at the rates set out in the second column thereof.
Revocation and transitional provision
3.—(1)  The Statutory Boards (Taxable Services) Order 1999 (G.N. No. S 68/99) is revoked.
(2)  Notwithstanding the provisions of this Order, the Minister may, in his discretion, apply the revoked Statutory Boards (Taxable Services) Order 1999 to the July 1999 cycle of meter readings in respect of the taxable services chargeable to tax under item (1)(a) of the Schedule for the purpose of effecting a transition from the revoked Statutory Boards (Taxable Services) Order 1999 to this Order.
