Waiver of Payment of Ground Rent

It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 12(3) of the State Lands Rules (R 1), the Minister for Law has waived, with effect from 1st January 2001, the payment of ground rent in respect of State land alienated until such time as the Minister may determine. The waiver will not apply to cases in which annual rent is payable in lieu of upfront premium for State land alienated.
