Small Motorised Vehicles (Safety)
(Temporary Exemption)
Order 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 of the Small Motorised Vehicles (Safety) Act 2020, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Small Motorised Vehicles (Safety) (Temporary Exemption) Order 2021 and comes into operation on 28 June 2021.
One month exemption for importer with import permit
2.  Section 5 of the Act does not apply to a person —
(a)who is granted, before 28 June 2021, an import permit under the Regulation of Imports and Exports Regulations (Cap. 272A, Rg 1) for the import of a small motorised vehicle; and
(b)who imports the small motorised vehicle between 28 June 2021 and 27 July 2021 (both dates inclusive) under the authority of the import permit.
