Notification 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Wholesome Meat and Fish Act, the Director‑General, Food Administration makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Enterprise Singapore Board — Exemption) Notification 2020 and is deemed to have come into operation on 7 May 2020.

Exemption

2. Section 5 of the Act does not apply to or in relation to the import of any meat product or fish product by the Enterprise Singapore Board during the period from 7 May 2020 to 31 August 2020 (both dates inclusive).
