Citation and commencement |
1. These Regulations are the Building Control (Regulating Fixed Installation Contractors) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 9 December 2022. |
Prescribed date |
2. The date prescribed for the definition of “prescribed date” in section 29M of the Act is 9 December 2022. |

4. The prescribed period under section 29O(3)(b) of the Act is one month. |

5.—(1) The pay slip mentioned in section 29Q(1)(b) of the Act for every citizen or permanent resident of Singapore who is employed or is to be employed by the person registered under Part 5B of the Act (called an employee) must contain particulars of the amount of the following payments received by the employee from the registered person:

Appeal against regulatory action |
6.—(1) A person aggrieved by a decision by the Building and Construction Authority to cancel a registration, or to take a regulatory action, which is specified in a notice under section 29R(5) of the Act may appeal to the Minister against the decision by filing, with the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of National Development, an appeal in accordance with paragraph (2).
