(Exemption for Biodiesel Blends)
Order 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Customs (Exemption for Biodiesel Blends) Order 2017 and comes into operation on 20 February 2017 at 4.45 p.m.
Exemption from section 34(1) of Act
2.  Section 34(1) of the Act does not apply to any biodiesel blend in any of the following circumstances:
(a)the biodiesel blend is for use in the propulsion of a motor vehicle and is carried —
(i)in a fuel supply tank of the motor vehicle; or
(ii)in a spare container of the motor vehicle in an amount not exceeding 10 litres;
(b)the biodiesel blend is for use in the propulsion of an aircraft and is carried in the fuel supply tank of the aircraft;
(c)the biodiesel blend is for use in the propulsion of a vessel and is carried in the fuel supply tank of the vessel.
