Proclamation under Article 64(2)
    
PROCLAMATION
BY HALIMAH YACOB,
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
          By Article 64(2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the sessions of Parliament shall be held in such places and shall commence at such times as the President may, from time to time, by Proclamation in the Gazette, appoint:
          By Article 64A(1) and (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, arrangements may now be made for Parliament and its committees to sit, meet and despatch business with Members of Parliament being present at 2 or more places appointed under Article 64(2) and in contemporaneous communication with one another:
          Now, therefore, I, HALIMAH YACOB, President of the Republic of Singapore —
(a)appoint Parliament House, 1 Parliament Place, Singapore 178880, and 24 August 2020, 5.30 p.m., as the place at which the First Session of the Fourteenth Parliament shall be held and the time at which it shall commence; and
(b)appoint the following places as additional places at which the First Session of the Fourteenth Parliament may be held during the period from 24 August 2020 to 20 November 2020 (both dates inclusive):
(i)The Arts House, 1 Old Parliament Lane, Singapore 179429;
(ii)NTUC Centre, 1 Marina Boulevard, Singapore 018989;
(iii)The Treasury, 100 High Street, Singapore 179434;
(iv)Civil Service College, 31 North Buona Vista Road, Singapore 275983.
