Co-operative Societies Act
(Chapter 62)
Exemption Order under Section 97
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 97 of the Co-operative Societies Act, the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports hereby exempts the Koperatif UFUK Singapura Berhad (Singapore UFUK Co-operative Limited) from section 89(3) of the Act so as to enable the following to be donated to MENDAKI-SENSE Pte Ltd, instead of being transferred to the Co-operative Societies Liquidation Account:
(a)any moneys remaining after the application of its funds to the purposes specified in section 88 of the Act; and
(b)any sums unclaimed after 2 years from the date of cancellation of its registration.
