Income Tax (Exemption of Foreign Income) (No. 7) Order 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(12) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Exemption of Foreign Income) (No. 7) Order 2005.

Exemption

2. ElectroTech Investments Ltd is hereby granted exemption from tax on the foreign dividends received in Singapore from its wholly owned Netherlands and Malaysian subsidiaries, from 10th October 2005 to 9th October 2010 (both dates inclusive), subject to the conditions specified in the letter of approval dated 10th October 2005 addressed to the tax adviser of ElectroTech Investments Ltd, PricewaterhouseCoopers Services Pte Ltd.
