Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Brunei Darussalam) Order 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Brunei Darussalam) Order 2006 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 15th February 2006.

Declaration of Brunei Darussalam as prescribed foreign country

2. Brunei Darussalam is hereby declared as a prescribed foreign country for the purposes of Part III of the Act.
